Ah, spring… warmer weather, blooming flowers, chirping birds…and a whole lotta cruelty-free fashion options. What’s there not to love? As the temperatures simmer on into late spring, vegans have a ton of great options when it comes to fashionable fare. Here are some of my picks for the greatest spring vegan options for both guys and girls:
Rawganique, a sweatshop-free company that utilizes organic hemp in most of its products, carries an array of light, breathable, and totally animal-free, hemp-based clothing perfect for spring. The Hemp Halter Knit Top is pretty much ideal for Saturdays at your local farmer’s market, and any pair of shorts chosen from the colorful array of Hemp Shorts for Men look like the perfect accompaniment for you guys out there wanting to sport super-comfy, animal-free, yet stylish shorts this spring.

For some statement graphic short sleeve t-shirts, try Alternative Outfitters. An LA-based vegan boutique, AO offers up apparel, shoes, and accessories for men and women. For the ladies, I love the Izzy and Ali Violet Studded Vegan Satchel – looks like a giant spring flower, minus the cruelty! Perfection!
Now that we’ve covered some apparel, we must, of course, talk about our spring-ifying our soles: Vegan footwear company Colourful Grass utilizes ethically-sourced, recycled, eco-friendly, and organic materials in the production of its colorful sandals and shoes for both men and women. I just love the Vandana Rose women’s flats for a bright pop of spring red color to any outfit.

UK Company Borgeious Boheme offers fabulous vegan shoes and accessories for both men and women. I’m pretty infatuated with the MT Lexie high-heeled loafer for spring parties and nights out – really, for everything and anything requiring more than the staple flip-flops. Guys, check out the Bobo Malcolm, a colorful, hip spin on the old-school saddle shoe – just don’t blame me if the women come flocking to you by the dozen.
