Vegan Blogger Hannah Kaminsky Wins Bravo Cooking Challenge

On Tuesday, it was announced that vegan pastry chef, cookbook author and award winning blogger Hannah Kaminsky won Bravo’s Around the World in 80 Plates Blogger Cookoff Challenge.

And what are her spoils? Aside from the killer bragging rights– Hannah was the only vegan invited to the competition—Bravo is awarding this sweet vegan $3,000 to put toward airfare to travel anywhere in the world!

Check out her entries on her blog, here. Hannah also does all of her own photography, so get ready for some triple X food porn, people. No fluffer needed. My favorite of Hannah’s entries? It would have to be her spotlight on London with her Banoffee Sticky Pudding. Banana and toffee? Yes please!

After the win was announced, I caught up with Hannah to dish on where exactly she plans on jet setting.

“It’s so crazy that I really won, it’s not sinking in yet! I think I want to go back to Japan, with a pit stop in San Francisco to break up the long flight… But I’m still working out the details. I really can’t imagine going anywhere else now, even though I’ve already been to Japan three times… It’s just so wonderful, I can’t resist the opportunity.”

Japan eh? Sounds amazing. Get more Hannah on her amazing foodblog, Bittersweet, or check out any of her three killer dessert cookbooks, available on Amazon.
