Vegan Cuts Snack Box Review

By Morgan Dudkewitz

Let me start off by saying that I love getting mail. Seriously, it doesn’t matter what it is, as long as it lands on my doorstep and I get to rip it open. When I heard about the new Vegan Cuts Snack Box, it sounded perfect for me. Mail that contains mystery vegan products? Sign me up!

The monthly box contains 5-8 products ranging from snacks and sweets to household and beauty items that are sold on the Vegan Cuts website. Anyone who has visited the site before can attest to the fact that it’s so hard to decide on a purchase because there’s just so much to choose from. If you’re anything like me, short on cash and hesitant to make purchases, this box is perfect for you! It gives you a little sampling of tons of different products, and then if you like them, you can purchase the big version at http://vegancuts.com/big, already knowing that you’ll love them when they arrive.

So when I found the February snack box waiting outside of my door when I got home from class one night, I did what any rational person would do. I dropped all of my things, scurried inside, and tore the box open with my keys. I was pleasantly surprised as this box contained tons of awesome stuff, including some cute late-Valentine’s Day treats!

Surf Sweets Fruity Hearts
Serengeti Ticolino Tea
PureFit Peanut Butter Toffee Nutrition Bar
Budi Cinnamon Superfood Bar
Simply 7 Pomegranate Sea Salt Chips
Dang Toasted Coconut Chips
Righteously Raw Mint Cacao Bar
Merry Hempsters Peppermint Vegan Lip Balm
Heart of Cherry Chocolate Piece
Free Online Vegan Cooking School Course: Valued at $97 dollars!

The Surf Sweets Fruity Hearts were the first things to disappear from this box. I had a few, and my boyfriend devoured the rest. He is a vegan gummy candy connoisseur of sorts, eating all of the candy he can get his hands on. He knows which gummies rule, and which don’t. Since these are a winner in his mind, they’re definitely a keeper! I’ll be ordering more of these ASAP since there can never be a lack of vegan candy in my house!

Next to go was the Serengeti Tea. I work a 9-5 job and sometimes I just need something caffeinated to help me through the day. I hate drinking coffee, so tea is my go-to! This loose tea comes in small sticks that you place in your hot water and whish around, no spoon needed! It’s super convenient, especially when you’re stuck at a desk and don’t feel like getting up to throw out a regular old tea bag and wash your spoon… yes, I’m lazy. You can buy these cute little things for less than 30 bucks for six boxes! I tried the Jasmine Green and Early Grey flavors, and I can’t wait to try the rest!

The rest of the products were awesome as well. The PureFit nutrition bar was a nice after-yoga snack, the pomegranate chips were great with homemade hummus, and the mint cacao bar was the perfect treat when I was stuck doing homework one night at two in the morning.

For 19.95 a month (free shipping to the U.S.!), this is a pretty sweet deal. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves trying out lots of different vegan products! Wait… do people exist that don’t love that?
