Calling All Vegan Recipe Testers!

RECIPE TESTERS NEEDED

Hey guys! So, I’m excited to announce that I’m writing a cookbook along with my partner in crime and iEG’s Managing Editor, Zoe Eisenberg. The book is  due to be published later this year, but the recipes are ready for testing now!  I’m looking for a few enthusiastic volunteers who would enjoy testing some of the recipes for me over the next several weeks.

Here’s the criteria I’m looking for in a recipe tester. You should:

  • Enjoy cooking with a variety of vegan ingredients
  • Be detail-oriented and good at following recipes. (previous testing experience a plus)
  • Agree to provide a critique of each recipe tested. (ability to provide photos of tested recipes a plus)
  • Be willing to test at least 10 to 15 recipes between now and February 28th.
  • Be willing to keep the specifics of your testing confidential (no sharing of these recipes, please!)

I know there are lots of great testers out there, so let me hear from you! Please apply by Friday, January 31st.  I’m sure it will be a very tough decision to choose just a few wonderful cooks to help with the testing.

    I would be interested in being a tester. My previous experience includes being a cookbook fanatic, follower of directions, lover of food, always into trying new things.

    As a particularly new vegan follower, I can also give insight as a person who’s taste is still changing and looking for delicious meals for my family. I was vegetarian for four years before I became vegan less then two years ago.

    I hope these qualifications make me eligible for your tester.

    I’ve been cooking vegan for my wife and I for nearly a year now at home. While my kids are willing to take the leap yet, they eat a significant number of vegan meals and love them without realizing them to be “vegan”. I know it is important to take into consideration several different types of people, and their tastes when thinking about the appeal of a recipe or ways to tweak recipes to make them even better. I will be an official certified health coach on February 17th and genuinely care about the need to provide healthy food options for people, as well as promote healthy living. Tasty vegan recipes can go a long way to achieving just that.

    I have a wide appreciation for all types of vegan food, and I can be versatile in the kitchen. Vegan foods and ingredients are widely available right under my nose here in Madison, WI. The vegan community in Madison is already quite large and continues to grow rapidly.

    I meet all the above criteria, and would truly love to participate in this recipe testing.
