iEG Crush: Dew Puff Review…Plus, a Giveaway!

When I first came across Dew Puff, I saw that the sponges were made of the Asian potato, konjac. I was totally intrigued, because as far as I knew, konjac was only good for making shirataki noodles and assorted vegan seafood products! Founders Masashi and Maya recently decided to unleash this centuries old beauty secret to the world. Not only are the sponges 100% plant based and chemical free, but they are also a safe and sustainable form of skin care…perfect for individuals who are looking for ways to become more conscious consumers without sacrificing function.

The Dew Puff comes in three varieties: Original, Bamboo Charcoal, and Asian Cla y. You simply rehydrate the sponge, and then “scrub” your face with it. I say “scrub,” because honestly, they are super gentle. Ever since I read an article a few years ago about how to properly cleanse one’s face, I have avoided using any soap on my face. However, sometimes, I just want that squeaky clean feeling. Using the Bamboo Charcoal variety, for my blemish prone skin, I got just that. The sponge is lightly textured to make it feel like you are getting a good scrub, but when you finish, your face feels super soft and smooth. Perfect!

Each sponge can be used for a couple of months, which is great. Bid farewell to cleansing cloths and cleansers with a dozen unrecognizable ingredients. Dew Puff is helping to make sustainable living mainstream and accessible, and for that, they deserve all of our crushing!

Masashi and Maya were kind enough to offer one of our darling readers and sample pack of the three types of sponges. Enter HERE, and you, too, can achieve that vegan glow you’ve always wanted…teehee!
