Meatless Monday: 7 Boozy Vegan Recipes To Start July 4th Weekend With A BANG!

Ahh…summer holidays. Even though there are a few of them, I think for most of us, they just melt into one big reason for us to grill and entertain every weekend. Or at least that’s the story of my life!

Enter the booze. Technically, I hardly drink anymore, save a random glass or two of sweet red wine when I’m playing catch-up with one of my besties. But that doesn’t mean I don’t still enjoy a cocktail here and there, particularly ones that step outside of the “rum and coke” box.

I’m actually in the middle of a few fruity infusions in preparation for my bachelorette shenanigans this coming weekend, so I rounded up a few recipes so that you, too, could whip up something to share with friends. Infused liquor also makes a really great host/hostess gift if you find yourself BBQ hopping this weekend! Make sure to choose organic produce…you don’t want to infuse your booze with pesky pesticides, do you?

*A note about vegan alcohol: While there are plenty of vegan friendly spirits on the market, some still rely on animal products. To be sure, check out and search the brand in question. They will alert you if it’s not vegan!
