We all love to indulge sometimes, which is ok, as long as you get back on the healthy bandwagon. I ate a bunch of processed food yesterday. To make up for it I put together this super rich, super, um, stimulating… smoothie. Chocolate and pomegranate are both packed with antioxidant and minerals, they’re also natural aphrodisiacs. I threw in two handfuls of mixed greens to clean up my system. Mm, detoxing is delicious.
- 2 bananas, frozen
- 2 handfuls of greens
- 1/2 – 1 cup of pomegranate seeds (the seeds don’t break done all the way so expect a tiny bit of chewing. you can use Pom juice or cherries instead.)
- 1 tbsp of cocoa powder
- 1 cup of nutmilk
- Any supplement powder – I added ground flax and immune boosting mushrooms
Blend and top with lots of pom seeds and chocolate shreds.
