The second track on Random Access Memories by Daft Punk which is set to debut at #1 on billboard 200 Georgio talks about his origins and how he always wanted to play and compose music. He would go to the discos in Germany and sing at night sleeping in his car by day. Music was his ticket out of the small village he commuted from, he wanted to make a sound of the future using the synthesizer a click and a moog (one of my favorite sounds in all music) the funny and most interesting thing about that statement is that the futuristic sound that Daft punk is known for is nothing more than what he (a person) thought the future should sound like.
